Pines attest a certain beauty. They are tall, skinny and associated to heather flowers and swamps.
This natural authenticity gives me rich colors variations and luminous effects. These trees bring out the melancholy and mystery. Pines are the emblem of this french department.
When painting ocean, I look for the blue, green, gray and yellow of water and the clouds.
If we observe the sky, we can tell approximatively what time it is.
